Yep, I have been so bad about blogging once again. I am just going to do some random posts the next few days to catch up!
A little update on our lives first. We are winding down our year of school...which is totally crazy! Orange is doing really well and got all S's on her latest report card (that is the highest you can get)..and yes, every little box had one. I am not too proud at all and neither is her teacher. It is amazing to see how far she has come in one year. Lemon is also doing very well. She is writing her name and recognizing most of her letters. She loves to do puzzles now too and will do them over and over and over. Both girls are excited for spring/summer and can't wait to be able to go swimming every day at camp! I am hoping to get some news in the next few weeks that will tell us if we are staying at our school or moving. It has been a very stressful situation and I hope that it works out the way I want it to. I would hate to add another transition to Orange's life or Lemon's for that matter but if we have to, we will. Just cross all of your fingers and toes that it won't come to that!
Hmm...what else. I am sure there is more but my brain is too tired to think of anything right now. So, on to some pictures (which is why you all come here anyways!)
While on vacation, we stayed at our buddy J.'s house. She is more like a sister than a buddy. We've been friends since J. was Lemon's age. The girls love her and so do I!! Here they are all together:-) Cousin J. is in the background too. She is in Orange and Lemon's wedding this Summerr (yep, it is now their wedding). She is the bride!!
We went to the Children's Museum that week as well with our friends S. and her little guy A. The girls had such a good time during the entire visit and can't wait to go back again! The J.'s went with us as well. Here are a bunch of pics from that day. I will post more tomorrow or maybe 10 days from now:-)

Fav Foto Friday- Friends!
On the way home from our vacation, we stopped to see our buddies who live along the way. The kids had a great time playing and the Mommies had a great time talking!! Here are Lemon and Orange with their friends M., F. and S. The last time we stopped, S. and F. had recently come home..it was so fun to see how much they've changed in such a short time. Thank you to our friends for the fun play date and for the yummy, yummy cake!! We hope we can do it again soon!!

The Pepper Ally
I need to finish posting about our vacation but wanted to post this first!! We got to go to a rally to support KU and their road to the final 4!! WOOHOOO....the girls had a blast. Lemon was so excited to go to the Pepper Ally (Pep Rally). We met up with some friends there and the kids danced, sang and cheered. Orange was very excited by the end of it all. She wasn't quite sure what a pepper ally was so I can understand. I think I have already created some die hard KU fans...and that is just fine with me!!
The girls even made it into the slide show posted on KU sports. They are now famous...no autographs please.

The Beginning of Our Second Year!
Welcome to our new home. I hope you enjoy. We are glad to be back at blogger and hope to make some great new memories to share this second year of our family of 3!! We are on vacation this week visiting friends and family in Chicago!! We went to the top of the Hancock building today so the girls could see the view. Thank you to our friend who informed us that the free view from the 95th floor women's bathroom was by far better than the very expensive view from the observatory! The girls loved it. Lemon wanted to know why the people didn't have faces that we saw below. Orange at one point said "look Mom, I see Mitchie down there" (from camp rock). It was entertaining to say the least!
Tonight we went out for Ethiopian food with a group of local adoptive families. It was great seeing everyone and meeting some virtual friends in real life. Here are some pics of the girls when I told them we were going to the top of that building.
